As founder of the Global Health Policy Group, he pioneered economic observational research to inform health policy and expand access to innovative therapies, initiating the first drug study to assess the impact of disease on caregivers. George has led transformative initiatives at Schering-Plough and Eli Lilly, contributing more than $1 billion in revenue growth across multiple product lines.

A nationally recognized trainer and educator with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), she has served as President of NAMI Wisconsin and Chair of the NAMI State Presidents Council. Dr. Jewell has led support groups and trained hundreds of clinicians, peers, and family caregivers in evidence-based communication, bridging the gap between clinical care and compassionate human connection.
